A very special Champagne dinner is taking place at The K Club this March
The K Club is hosting a very special Champagne dinner on Thursday, March 3rd, which will include a pre-dinner Champagne reception and six-course tasting menu paired with Laurent-Perrier Champagnes, one of the most iconic Champagne houses and the house pour and Champagne partner at The K Club for over 20 years.
“In the present climate of restricted supply of all things Champagne,” says Lisa O’Doherty, consultant sommelier to The K Club, “it’s so exciting to have an opportunity at The K Club to showcase this iconic Champagne, a true partner for gastronomy, pairing so well with many of the finest dishes.”
The six-course menu features dishes such as Irish brown crab with an Acquerello risotto, lobster bisque and Parmesan foam. A main course of suckling pig with pancetta, potato purée and rosemary apricot chutney is followed by baked Cooleeney goats cheese with candied walnuts and Helen G’s Honey Pearls and a dulce de leche caramel dessert.
Each course of the six-course tasting menu is matched with a Laurent-Perrier Champagne, from Laurent-Perrier Brut and Laurent-Perrier Vintage 2008 to Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle, Laurent-Perrier Ultra Brut and Laurent-Perrier Rosé.
This exclusive six-course tasting menu with Champagne pairings will be hosted by Lisa O’Doherty and the very limited number of tickets will go on sale on Friday 28 January at €175 per ticket.
