As one door closes, another opens: The K Club bids farewell to valued Director of HR & Training and appoints new Director of HR & Training from within the team
The K Club in County Kildare is celebrating new chapters for two valued members of its team this month as it bids farewell to Director of HR & Training, Monica Morgan, and promotes April Gill to Director of HR & Training.
Monica Morgan is finishing her tenure in March after 12-and-a-half-years at the iconic five star resort, in order to focus on family life. With over 30 years' international experience in the hospitality, leisure and healthcare sectors, Monica brought a passion for developing and working with individuals at all levels to her role as Director of HR & Training at The K Club.
Paul Heery, General Manager at The K Club says: "Monica has been a powerful force at The K Club over the last decade and more. She is hugely respected by the whole team across all departments and by her industry colleagues outside of the business. We're always sad to see such an integral member of our team who has been with us for such a significant period of time leave us but know that Monica's next chapter focusing on her family will be hugely rewarding. We wish her every success and hope she stays in touch with The K Club family she helped to build and strengthen during her time at the resort."
April Gill, who has worked under Monica's guidance for the past seven years, will now be promoted to the senior team having been appointed Director of HR & Training. Kildare native April began her journey with The K Club as Human Resources & Training Office in November 2016. After showing fantastic promise, she was promoted to HR & Training Manager three-and-a-half years later.

April has shown real dedication to her responsibilities here and absorbed everything Monica has taught here.
