KPMG Women's Irish Open 2026

The KPMG Women’s Irish Open made its debut at The K Club from 27th to 30th August 2026, bringing four days of world-class women’s golf to the Palmer South Course.

One of the standout events on the Ladies European Tour calendar, the championship welcomed 129 players representing 33 nationalities, including a record 16 Irish players, as some of the game’s leading talent competed in front of passionate home crowds at The K Club.

South Africa’s Casandra Alexander delivered an outstanding wire-to-wire performance to become the 2026 KPMG Women’s Irish Open champion. Opening with a spectacular nine-under-par 63, Alexander maintained her lead throughout the championship and finished at 20-under par, three shots clear of Sara Kouskova, to secure her second Ladies European Tour title.

There was plenty for the home crowd to celebrate too, with Leona Maguire producing a brilliant weekend on Palmer South. A superb third-round 63 propelled her up the leaderboard before a final-round 68 saw her finish tied fourth at 15-under par, equalling her best finish at the Women’s Irish Open.

The week marked a memorable first staging of the KPMG Women’s Irish Open at The K Club, showcasing the very best of women’s golf and adding another chapter to the resort’s rich championship history.
