Easter is eggstremely exciting at The K Club this year, where adults and children are in for a real treat, relaxing at this stylish 5-star country resort. With the Easter Bunny at the heart of the holiday, there are themed sweet treats and activities to enjoy all through the Easter season including chocolate egg hunts, delicious Irish chocolates in your room on arrival and a leisurely Afternoon Tea experience overlooking the resort.
Once you have checked-in, venture outside and collect five mini Easter eggs in The K Club’s gardens to gain entry to Easter Island, the resort’s private island for residents only, where you will meet the Easter Bunny in his cosy cabin. After exploring the island with its petting zoo and hot chocolate station, make your way to the Drawing Room for savoury delights and special sweet treats in a delicious Afternoon Tea service, available for €50 per adult and €22.50 per child.
Adding to The K Club’s polished portfolio of food and beverage offerings, this Easter guests will also be able to take a seat in the resort’s casually cool and fun new bar and restaurant venue - South. With an impressive statement bar for drinks and cocktails, relaxed open plan seating for every occasion and the handsome outdoor terrace with gorgeous views across the lush greens of the Palmer South course, South restaurant and bar at The K Club is perfect for big get-togethers, a Saturday night family treat, a long lazy breakfast, or a beer and burger post golf.
This year’s kids’ Easter highlights at The K Club include Science Camps, with lots of interactive, safely delivered STEM eggsperiments for junior Einsteins to enjoy. Children are supplied with their own lab coats, goggles and gloves, as well as all scientific materials needed to participate in egg drop engineering challenges, pigments of pure imagination with the colour spectrum and rainbow glasses, pneumatic chocolate bunnies, candy explosions and even some Easter slime. Junior Einsteins Science Camp is a little learning and a lot of fun for €10 per hour per child, running daily from 9am to 1pm.
Children at The K Club can also enjoy an extensive range of daily on-site activities, including golf lessons, cycling, dedicated children’s swim times, egg and spoon races, tug-o-war, egg colouring, paddle boarding on the River Liffey and much more. Adults also have their own menu of treats to choose from at The K Club, from falconry to archery, clay pigeon shooting, horse-riding, fishing and golf demonstrations to wine cellar and historical house tours and skincare seminars.
