COURT RULES & INFORMATION
ACCESS CODE INFORMATION
To access the courts at your reserved time, enter the 6-digit access code provided in your reservation confirmation using the keypad at the entrance. Please make sure you go to the correct court – Padel Court 1 or Padel Court 2 – as indicated in your booking.
COURT RULES:
1. Format and Scoring:
Padel is played in doubles, with two players on each team.
Scoring is the same as in tennis: 15, 30, 40, deuce, advantage.
2. Serving:
The serve is underhand and must be hit diagonally across the court into the opponent's service box.
The ball must bounce once on the serving side and then once on the receiving side before players can volley it.
The serve must be made from behind the service line, and the server's feet cannot touch or cross the line while serving.
If the ball bounces in the service box and hits the side or back wall, it's a valid serve.
If the ball lands in the service box and hits the wire fencing, it's a fault.
3. Gameplay:
Players can use the walls to play the ball back, but it must bounce inside the playing area before hitting the wall.
After the initial bounces, the ball can be volleyed or played off the walls.
Players are not allowed to volley the ball before it bounces on their side.
The ball must touch the ground before it touches the walls or fences.
The first bounce of the ball on the receiving side must be inside the service box.
4. Other Rules:
There are two serve attempts per game.
Players can use the walls on their side to play the ball back.
The ball can be hit by any player in any zone of the court.
There are penalties for unsportsmanlike conduct and aggressive behaviour.
5. Golden Point (in some competitions):
In some competitions, the "Golden Point" is used when a game reaches deuce (40-40). The receiver chooses which player will serve, and the winner of the next point wins the game.
