Across the 550 acres of our stunning resort we offer a tremendous variety of career opportunities.

 

Here’s how you’ll bring the K Club’s trailblazing vision to life: 

·     To manage and oversee all food & beverage outlets on the Resort, including the Straffan Inn Pub

·      To plan and establish all food & beverage policies for the resort and effectively communicate these to all departments.

·       To continuously review all menus with the relevant HODs in order to ensure our guests and members are satisfied with our menu content.

·       To review the Gross Profit for each section of the division, and establish the cause of anomalies.

·       To enhance the food & beverage experience at the resort for members and guests.

·       To ensure all relevant departments are prepared and organised for each day’s business in advance.

·       To monitor and report on each event and provide relevant management information.

·       To ensure all food & beverage outlets are presented, both internally and externally, to the required standards at all times.

·       To manage the food & beverage teams with regard to service, presentation, organisation and any other relevant issues in order to ensure customer satisfaction.

·       To communicate effectively with teams on a regular basis, ensuring an open and two-way flow of information.

·       To advise a development plan for the improvement of facilities and services to members and guests.

·       To liaise with the Director of Finance with regard to budgeting, stock controls, cash handling and other financial issues ensuring company policies are adhered to at all times.

·       To plan, forecast, and report on sales, costs and business performance, according to company procedure.

·       To liaise with the Director of Sales & Marketing with regard to all Sales, Marketing and PR issues. 

·       To propose and follow up with any Marketing and PR events as appropriate.

·       To develop a strategy to drive food & beverage revenues in conjunction with the Director of Sales & Marketing.

·       To liaise with the Director of HR with regard to recruitment & selection of personnel and any other HR issues.

·       To assess and appraise direct reports on a regular basis, in line with company policy.

·       To ensure all staff are adequately trained in all aspects of their role to ensure standards are achieved. To liaise with the HR & Training department with regard to any training requirements.

·       To liaise with the other management with regard to the other facilities in the resort, providing feedback from members and guests.

·       To manage the Micros system.

·       To attend management and operations meetings and follow up on any relevant issues.

 

This is how we see you:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, Resort experience is advantageous 
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Must be standards driven and detail orientated, with the desire to progress within the luxury market
  • Financial & reporting skills
  • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Will be flexible in their working hours
