We are recruiting for a Senior Sous Chef to join the Resort Kitchen Brigade based in the Palmer.
THE POSITION
To prepare all ingredients for service for allocated section to the required standard, ensuring no wastage To cook food to the required specifications To have joint responsibility with the Head Chef for the operation of the Pastry. To train and develop kitchen personnel, to the required standards of The Kildare Hotel & Country Club To ensure the smooth running of food service with Restaurant personnel To ensure effective communication with all departments within the Resort To ensure all goods are stored correctly and hygienically in accordance with HACCP specifications To promote a positive working atmosphere at all times Must be able to work well on their own initiative and to work in a team environment
THE CANDIDATE
Experience in a similar role in a 5* environment A strong leader with great communication skills HACCP Level 3 is an advantage
