Here’s how you’ll bring the K Club’s trailblazing vision to life:  

  • Respond to enquiries/requests for group, catering & golf business within company policy. Define meeting specifics.
  • Ability to manage guest room and meeting space inventories and suggest positive alternatives to ensure that business booked is within resort parameters.
  • This role would be golf group champion. 
  • Process all correspondence within agreed time lines.
  • Ensure all follow –up is conducted within agreed time lines
  • Manage and maintain accurate account files
  • Executes agreed sales strategy to achieve revenue goals.
  • Adhere to correct event turnover process – ensure all files are accurate, all information is correct and agreed with client and that events are forecasted correctly.
  • Use standard activities, traces and follow-up in Opera for all bookings.
  • Develops contracts and correspondence, manages opportunity details and proactively develops customer solutions.
  • Details events in line with customer requirements and ensure these are agreed and approved.
  • Manage and develop relationships with multiple contacts in assigned market accounts.
  • Maintains accurate and up to date account data and reporting using account management systems. 
  • To adhere to the Group/Wedding/Golf Policies regarding Space Holding, Releasing, Depositing & Cancellations
  • To ensure all the menus, rooming list and all event and golf information are entered into the system a minimum of 14 days prior to an event
  • To conduct Resort Site inspections with clients
  • To create profiles for all New Contacts/Companies in Opera, and update Existing profiles where required.
  • To develop and maintain relationships with new & existing clients
  • To ensure weekly Site Inspections are communicated to relevant departments in a timely manner
  • To ensure the Enquiries, Business Won & Business Lost reports are sent out daily and accurate for all reservations
  • To update Enquiries, Business Won & Business Lost on a daily basis and chasing business
  • To provide sales and management team with accurate feedback.
  • To ensure all Terms and Conditions pertaining to Groups and Companies at The K Club is updated
  • To provide cover when required for all members of the Sales tea
  •  Ensure Opera is up to date with current menus and forecasting
  • To liaise with Sommeliers re updates on the wine list & updating Opera
  • To compile a Catering Calendar of Events
  • To produce productions weekly reports to account for lost and regretted business with feedback on reasons

 

 

How we see you:

  • Experience working in a Sales Role within the hospitality sector
  • You are in possession of excellent communications and relationship building skills.
  • You have the ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • You will join in as a confident team player and strive to make your mark with team members and customers alike
  • An interest in golf is desirable
