Vintage Crop Cocktail Bar
As County Kildare is so rich in equestrian history, it is only fitting that our cocktail bar is named after Dr Michael Smurfit’s beloved Irish gelding, Vintage Crop. Winner of the Melbourne Cup in 1993 and of the Jefferson Smurfit Memorial Irish St Leger in 1993 and 1994, Vintage Crop was the first Irish horse to surpass the £1 million mark in winnings. He holds a special place in all our hearts here in The K Club.
The opulent bar and balcony area of the Vintage Crop Cocktail Bar overlook the beautifully manicured K Club gardens, which are adorned by a host of specimen trees such as great Irish oak, yew and western red cedar. It is a most relaxing environment in which to enjoy an evening drink, including some fine Champagnes and beautiful Barton & Guestier wines.
Our cocktail bar also features an unrivalled collection of whiskeys and gins. And, of course, there is an extensive list of cocktails which are prepared by our expert mixologists. Try a Kir Royale made with Laurent Perrier Champagne or a Negroni with Martini Rosso, Campari, and the gin of your choice.
